Join IAFE

The IAFE is the not-for-profit, professional society dedicated to fostering the profession of quantitative finance by providing platforms to discuss cutting-edge and pivotal issues in the field. Founded in 1992, the IAFE is composed of individual academics and practitioners from banks, broker dealers, hedge funds, pension funds, asset managers, technology firms, regulators, accounting, consulting and law firms, and universities across the globe.

Through frank discussions of current policy issues, sponsoring programs to educate the financial community and recognizing the outstanding achievements in the field, the IAFE acts as a beacon for the development of quantitative finance. Throughout its history, the IAFE´s pre-eminent leadership has positioned us to respond with savvy to the evolving needs of the financial engineering community. The IAFE´s programs - from our area-specific committees to our monthly panel discussions to the Financial Engineer of the Year Award - are designed to provide our membership with uniquely valuable activities to enhance their work in the field and opportunities to network and socialize with their colleagues.


    

Membership Rates and Levels

IAFE Membership

Practitioners $200 

The Practitioner membership is the standard all inclusive level of membership designated for professionals in the field.

Young Practitioners $100

Young Practitioners membership is limited to professionals beginning in the field who are under the age of 30.

Academics $100

The Academic membership level is limited to full-time employees of universities and colleges.  Please note the name of home institution in the company field.

Students $25

Student membership is restricted to currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate students. If you are signing up for student membership, please provide your university email address and enter your school in the company field.

The IAFE is an individual based professional society; we do not offer corporate membership. However, we warmly welcome corporate sponsorship. Please click here to view our list of sponsors.
